Floor Mats & Liners Installation

Last Updated: 1/6/09

Installation / Safety Tips

  • You must remove your vehicle's factory floor mats before installing your new floor mat or liner
  • Before driving, ensure that the floor mats do not interfere with the accelerator or brake pedals

Cleaning Tips

  • To clean your floor liner, a simple damp cloth is recommended. Formula 409 and Glass Plus also may be used. Do not use Armor All or Son-of-a-Gun protectant as these products will make your floor liner become slick.
  • All-weather floor mats come with a protective finish to help them shed water and dirt easily. To clean them, simply rinse them with a hose and then shake to get the water off.

Floor Mats vs. Floor Liners

  • Floor mats provide basic, but limited protection for your vehicle's carpeting. Floor liners feature raised edges which are custom molded to fit your vehicle perfectly, and prevent any chance of water, dirt, or mud from getting on your carpet from your shoes.
